  • 0.5 cup heavy cream cold
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 0.5 cup icing sugar
  • 4 oz dark chocolate melted
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a bowl, mix the almond flour and icing sugar. Add melted butter and mix until well combined.
  2. Spread the mixture into an even layer in a springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator.
  3. Prepare the chocolate mousse by whipping the cold heavy cream to soft peaks and gently fold in the chocolate mousse mix.
  4. Pour the mousse over the almond base and spread evenly. Refrigerate until set.
  5. Garnish with melted dark chocolate. Serve chilled.
