Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until slightly golden.
- Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Halve the hard-boiled eggs and arrange them in a baking dish with the diced ham.
- Pour the béchamel sauce over the eggs and ham. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
